Leadership classes 

Peer Mentoring  at Creighton 

Semester 
7/8 Grades

Be a positive peer model in both our SSN classrooms and attend other academic classes and electives with SSN students. If you are a flexible, positive, optimistic person, and have a strong interest in helping others, consider taking this course. Good listening and communication skills as well as consistent attendance are a must.



Mentorship at Fletcher Miller

Semester 
8th Grade

Mature Creighton students will talk to Fletcher Miller School to work with students who have profound disabilities. Enrolees must work as part of a team, be dependable, and make a commitment to helping others. Good listening, communication skills, and attendance are a must! Teacher recommendation is required. Class size is limited. Must complete an application to be considered.

WEB Leadership

Semester 
7/8 Grades

Students apply to be selected as a WEB leader. The application process will take place in April. In this course, class members will experience a sense of personal growth and character development. Students will focus on leadership skills, anti-bullying skills, service, organization, and communication. WEB leaders will mentor a group of 6th grade students throughout the year and work to create meaningful events and lessons for those students. 




Teacher/Office Assistant

Semester 
8th Grade

This course requires an application.


Responsible, self-directed students with good attendance work with staff members in the classroom or the main office, helping with various daily tasks. Must complete application to be considered.
