2019-20 Registration Checklist

After completing the enrollment process, the following registration steps need to be completed after July 31st:

Step 1:  UPDATE JEFFCO CONNECT:  After July 29th

  • This step must be completed every school year to ensure we have accurate contact information.
  • A parent/guardian login must be used. 
  • Click on your student’s name.
  • Select each tab on the left side and update the information.
  • Click “Save” on each page.
  • On the "Contacts" tab, be sure to select the parent/guardian "Edit" icon.  Pay close attention to the "Notification Preferences" listed and selected, as this is how you will receive communications from the school.  Save changes.
  • We strongly encourage you to supply an email address, as we do most our communication via email. After reviewing all sections, click “Submit” on the summary page. 
  • Under "Summary Details" for your student, confirm your “Digital Signature” changed to today’s date.
  • Complete this update for each of your Jeffco students.
  • Return to Jeffco Connect Home page.

 Step 2:  PAY STUDENT FEES:  Beginning July 30th

  • In Jeffco Connect, click on the Jeffco Student Fee Payment link on the left side of page.
  • There is no surcharge for paying fees through Jeffco Connect.
  • Class fees are tied to a student’s course schedule for the year, and may change slightly if schedule is changed.
  • You will see fees for the entire year, so you may see a fee listed that you do not see on the class schedule in August.
  • 6th grade families, if you have been fundraising for Outdoor Lab, do not pay that fee at this time.
  • If applying for the Free/Reduced Lunch Program, wait to pay fees until you receive a response from that program.  If approved, notify the school financial office.  
  • You can pay fees for all of your Jeffco students at one time.

Step 3:  VISIT SCHOOLCAFE: 

  • Visit the new food services website, SchoolCafe. You will need to create a new account the first time you log in.
  • Apply for free or reduced meal benefits, if applicable.  Remember this must be completed every year.
  • Deposit money into student lunch account, if applicable.

Step 4:​  FIRST DAYS OF SCHOOL:

  • AUGUST 14TH:
    • 6th and 7th grade students are required to attend today from 7:24 am to 2:15 pm.  
  • AUGUST 15TH:
    • 7th grade students are required to attend today from 7:24 am to 2:15 pm. 
  • AUGUST 15TH: 
    • 8th grade students new to Creighton are required to attend from 12:30 pm. to 2:15 pm. 
  • AUGUST 16TH:
    • First full day for all students (6th, 7th and 8th) 7:24 am - 2:15 pm.
