Performing Arts

Music education rooted in the Colorado Academic Standards is an integral part of Jeffco's core curriculum and provides students with unique experiences and skills essential for success in school and beyond. Students are provided instruction in all aspects of music: singing, playing, moving, reading, listening, analyzing, creating and performing.

Theatre teachers in Jeffco are dedicated to providing students with opportunities to realize their vision while developing critical-thinking skills, finding themselves and their place in this world, and creating experiences that last a lifetime.

Content is not the sole focus of theatre education in Jeffco. The district is committed to providing students with a well-rounded education and opportunities to participate in experiential learning through theatre education. 

Creighton’s performing arts department is one of the best in Jeffco. Students who choose these electives take daily classes and may be involved in school-wide and district-wide performances, including state events.
